Just another happy day!
Ohmygod! I feel so happy now! My dad bought me Final Fantasy VII : Dirge of Cerberus! Like finally!? I know this is a pretty old game and I had watched the walkthrough at youtube. If you are a fan, you would know that Vincent, as the main lead of this game, uses his gun as a weapon. I did not know that the targeting would be that difficult! Maybe like what my friend suggested, holding a real gun controller would be better.
Because this game requires alot of accuracy, dodging, aiming and constant movement of the camera, I feel quite quite dizzy after playing the tutorial, even up 'till now. The feeling sucks, but I gonna hang on for my dear Vincent Valentine! :D I already got to a point where I started dreaming about characters from FFVII. Man, talking about being crazy, I will be the first on line. LOL. I made a promise to myself that I will only play FFVII : DOC after my exams. So, strictly forbidded to touch my PS2, DUH!!!
Anyway, breezed through school today and had given my support to Pearle who signed up for the talent show. She did a really great job, she really deserve many many claps from the class. And because of this singing talent show, I really wanted to sing! And so, I met my dear couz to AMK hub and sang our lungs out (literally!)..
I bought a top from AMK Hub too, my dad sponsered me!!! =D Its really good to know that your projects are all over. Of course... Im gonna start mugging real hard for my upcoming semestral examinations!!! Yay! (^0^)v

What to post today. ITS WRITTEN DOWN!
Woah! I had a really good sleep just now. Hey don't be surprise but I actually slept from 5pm till 11.30pm! It was totally a mental shutdown. LOL.
WAHHHHH, you may exclaim! BUT, hey, don't call me a pig! I deserve a break(!!!) after all the hardwork put into my project! In fact, I think everyone from Group 1(Nick's Group) and Group 2 (Jessica's Group) deserve a pat on their shoulder. Good job! I'm really glad that my presentation is over!!!! And I passed my PACC! YAY! (^v^)v
One thing for sure, We are gonna make sure that the other groups from the other class will suffer hell next week. The pit that they had put us in today, will be 10 times deeper than our's next week. and Yes! Time to post some sweet things about our dear sista You Peng's Party and Matt's Party. Sorry, the photos chosen to be posted today are pretty random. I was too tired to really pick and choose a nice one. AND. no pictures of me! Strictly restricted. =P
On the big day, I had to rush home from school and tried to bake 30++++ cupcakes and 2 round cakes for the big guy and girl. Fortunately, Acelyn came to help! Everything was done by the time we set off to the BBQ pit with the rest of the girls (who all came to gather at my house at around 7pm). The feeling of sisterhood was back again. I think I can hug them 'till death. LOL.
What really surprised me was that I were able to get along well with classmates that I had never really chatted with before. e.g Desmond and Wei Siong. We were really having a fun time catching up with old AND new time that I really did not know what my sisters were doing actually. LOL.
Whatever it is, I enjoyed this gathering (FREAKING) lots! Some pictures!

Unable to sleepppppppppppp!
I can't believe I am able to stay wide awake 'till now! It's already 4.30 and I don't even feel like sleeping. Thank god I finished all the assignments and projects in time after I woke up from a quick nap just now.
I really hope my efforts will pay off after putting so much effort, time and sleep! I know everyone is tired, but keep yourself moving okay!? Don't be a lazy bum bum! xP
I am really getting busy with stuffs again, my semestral exams are around the corner. Gosh, what a hectic life. I wish there will be more time for leisure.
I simply love the cakes I baked! They are forever soooo delicious after several attempts. Thankfully I did not give up on my banana cake after the banana disaster. I went to buy a digital weighing scale and had 100% accuracy of measurement for every ingredient. SERIOUSLY.
My banana cake turned out FABULOUS (except that I did not know that the cake will expand so much that it sorta overflow from the tin.. duh!)... I swear, its the best recipe ever! EVER! So, orders anyone?
HAHAHAHAHAHA.
Anyway, I will die one day with all these endless projects on my hand now. So many things to do yet so little time. There's no way I am ever going to get some rest.. NO!!! Hey, I have a bad feeling about this!!! Probably gonna burn midnight oil today. What a bad week!!!!

Banana Disaster
Okok I will be back to blogging for a few days, or at least until I am busy again.
Oh my, I really hate my weighing scale. I thought it was working fine until I tried baking a banana cake just now.
My mixture became a dough due to a large amount of flour added to the batter! Later then I realised I had added 1/2 kg of flour when only 250gm of flour is needed. My mood is freaking dampened now.....
Maybe that explains why my peach tart failed on Saturday. I tried making almond cream peach tart but the almond cream refused to set in and the tart pastry was uber hard (even after a few attempts of poking it with a fork, the pastry remained intact -.-)
ROAR. I can't imagine how much ingredients I had wasted, how much money I had threw into the sea due to this toopid weighing scale! =(
Off to the window you go, Mr Green Weighing.Scale. You are no longer needed. You are useless now. Your fate with me ends HERE. Tomorrow you are going to the dustbin and a new friend of yours will join me into this baking crazeee.... You lazy pig, why don't you even give me an accurate measurements with yr needle!?
lol. My exams are over for the time-being. I guess I can stop being so stress now. But it wont long before I get stress all over again...

My blog cant be anymore dead than this... Sooooo. I decided to update before I hit the bed (not HITTING the bed, you get what I mean!) even though its already 2.15am in the morning.
This coming week is a really stressful one. In fact, this whole term is a killer term. I have 4 coming CAs, followed by Semestral examinations. I miss hanging out with my Clique, with my couz, with everyone! I miss talking to my online friends and maple friends!
Where am I exactly, you may ask? The answer is, on the way to hell.DUH! A hell full of accounting questions, Economics Structure, Statistic (or saddistic? zzz) tables! But one thing, a heavy stress was lifted off when I had my Make-Up Course Exam yesterday...
She is my pretty model. I feel so fortunate to have her because her face is almost flawless, except for a teeny weeny bit of pimple outbreaks due to stress. She is PURFECT for a model... My 1 hour master piece on her face.. Hope she likes it. because I love it..! LOL. A random picture of Vio when she was 3 month old young. Now? She cant be anymore fatter than me. She is FAT and HEAVY. Its time to slim down, Vio... :D I was in my artiste uniform. I wanted to wear short pants but decided on a long pair of jeans in the end. I hate looking so formal... It doesnt feels like me... at all!

YES ME. VIOLET. MEMEMEMEMEME. Don't laugh, I was having flu when I sang this. As I mention a few posts ago, I love a song titled "A thousand Word" (FFX-2). So I decided to try singing it since I found a karaoke version of this song. I personally thought it was not too bad. Comments are welcome to help me improve on this song. I am gonna try the Japanese Version as soon as I finish sitting for the endless stream of examinations.
Oh well... laugh all you want anyway. I am still grateful I am not there to listen. xS
Final Fantasy VII
YES! After some research of FFVII, I finally found the short novel about Aerith, "The maiden who travels the Planet", written by Benny Matsuyama, under the supervision by Square Enix. This novel actually shows what happened to Aerith after she had "return" to the planet, after she was killed by Sephiroth and after she was released into the water by Cloud.
Before I read this novel, I always feel so sad (almost teared!) whenever I think about Aerith's death. But it's not all that bad. In this novel, Aerith found Zack in the liftstream. Her first boyfriend who died a few years ago before the orginal sequel of the game. Amazingly, I suddenly realised Aerith did not know about Zack's death at all. lol!!! She just feel that he's somewhere.
But then I found it kinda of strange for her not to able to feel that Zack was in danger. She's a Cetra, she can converse with the planet, so naturally, if she concentrate listening to the whisper of the planet, she will know Zack is no longer living at the upper world anymore.
Another fact I found, I din noe Aerith had a thing for Cloud! LOL. I always thought she felt a connection towards him because he resembles Zack. However, I was proven wrong when the story states,
"She also had good feelings towards him (Cloud). At first, she thought he somehow had some similarities to her first love (Zack). Even so, his looks, voice and personality weren't similar and he also made her think of him as a mysterious person... But it soon didn't matter. She loved him much more than her first love. Cloud was her hero and he couldn’t get away from danger. She saw him as someone full of confidence, cool and had the impression that he would disappear in an instant if she took her eyes off him. She wanted to stay by his side forever if she could. She really wanted to."
Awwww... to think I still thought she had feelings for Zack even during the orginal sequel of the game! -.- In the lifestream, I can't feel a connection between Zack and Aerith AT ALL. Which was kinda a contridiction to Advent Children because at the end of the movie, Aerith and Zack appeared to bid goodbye to Cloud before they went back to the lifestream.

Boo! How I wish I am not sick when I am practicing makeup on other people's face. How would someone love to see your artiste sniffing away while drawing eyeliner on yr eyes? How would you like if I am coughing while applying foundation for you?! Gah, I hate it. My model doesnt seems to mind, but I mind alot alot ALOT!
My makeup was fine. Well, at least I think so. She doesnt seems to get use to how her eyebrow looks like after I had drew on her eyebrow. And I think my purple (unintentionally, because the halogram eyeshadow went totally PURPLE!) eyeshadow don't really suits her. However, lesson learned! I will use other colours during exam, and I really appreciate her effort to come down... Woo... When I went to the clubhouse, I heard about other artiste having troubles to get their models down for practices, so yeah! Yay!!!
Omigod, the food fair outside Westmall rocks, but too bad I am sooo sick to eat any of those. Anyway, dieting for Cosplay next year, so gonna to slim down. Zzz!
P/S : I had enough of her nonsense. I just hope she can stop doing all those stuffs. Not that I wanna be mean, but my nerve is showing some attitudes to me now. Which usually means, I am getting piss soon. Real soon. Just you wait.

who/whether should I cosplay?
Yay! My topic for today, should I start cosplaying? There are objection parties who say that I will be a joke to everyone. And den, even if I wan to cosplay, who should I cosplay? My ultimate choice is SUMMONER YUNA!
Why I choose her? Because her costume is the most less exaggarating than the rest of the female characters. Her costume resembles a sleeveless kimono! For all those who remember, I had once wanted to wear a kimono very much, but my dad said its very expensive to buy a kimono costume and I am not a Japanese who wears it often. He dimmed it as "WASTING MONEY!"
So sobs, Yuna gave me a very good opportunity to feel whats it like in a pretty kimono! =D Rinoa is my 2nd choice. Because her costume is like a sleeveless cardigan, with a pretty normal top and bottom. She got a long hair too, so I may not have to wear a wig to cosplay her. Besides, she look pretty... normal if she did not wear the blue "gloves" of hers.
Characters I wanna cosplay, but I may end up looking super retarded. AERITH!! I noe, she is pretty and all because thats her face. But on real human being like us, to cosplay her HAIR, we are like bunch of fools tending the flowers in the church. Well, maybe not for those girls who look extremely pretty and are able to cosplay her. For me, with a centre parting & pop up sort of fringe, I would rather join those mentally-illed patients in MH than to get laugh. TIFA! Actually, cosplaying her is pretty alright, but the thing is, I have to expose my stomach. Damn, it will feel so weird and I dun have the figure too. Besides, I am not pretty or neither I have big and round eyes like her, Yuna suits me more. haha! =P Here's the most ridiculous one, SOMEONE ASK ME COSPLAY RIKKU -.- Please!!! This is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy off my league. Firstly, I will die wearing this to the public (not the beach somemore!). Secondly, I will freeze to death in the cosplay hall. Thirdly, I have to stop eating for 3 months before I can get that sort of figure. IMPOSSIBLE! DUH!
Of course, it may not be them I am going to cosplay next year. Just an idea, I may end up being a dollie girl instead. Or a maid.

Summoner Yuna, Warrior Yuna (with 2 guns?) and a Yuna who sings (with a mike?). I still prefer wearing the Kimono. xP

2008 Cosplay Festival!!!
My oh my! Cosfest was so fun! It certaintly worth the work to wake up early just to see people dress up as animated character! I am definitely gonna be a cosplayer next year, its just an annual event, so why not? Even if I look ugly, I wont be the only one there... Opps! Hahaha!
Anyway, back on track, I met Eileen and went to Downtown East with her. Guess who we saw while walking into the event hall?!
CLOUD! INFANTRYMAN! IN CRISIS CORE. OMGGGG! And the similarity was 80% close! The hair rocks but a pity this cosplayer is a.. GIRL. sobs! Subsequently, we saw more cosplayer and more came streaming in from nowhere (probably from the toilet)...
There were alot of anime characters which I don't recognise. But I took their pictures down anyway. I am not a professional photographer, so my apologies if the pictures turned out to be abit crappy. xP The reaper, hahaha!
Ohhhh! This rocks, the picture is abit too small to see, but her (funny.. all the girls decided to dress up as guys.. lol.) hair and everything was quite cool! Art... lol! I seriously do not know what she was cosplaying. I cant even see her face behind the "curtains"!
I was busy taking photos while Eileen tapped me on my shoulder and asked me,"Is that L?" So, out of curiousity, I walked closer and realised, IT WAS L! So I asked him to pose for me so I could take a photo of him. When I was done with the shot, he resumed playing his laptop silently without aknowledging anything. When I walked passed him again, I realised all he did was just moving the mouse cursor on the mousepad! LOL. Love this! One of the limelight. With her guitar and all. =D I din noe since when Cloud and Genesis become friends... lol! They were talking and then later during the day, I saw them sitting together eating Macdonalds. LOL.

Cloud and Genesis were also the limelight for the day... At about 2pm, Eileen went off to meet her aunt, so I decided to continue with the event myself. I was seated very well on one of the chairs in front of the stage until.... This toopid nartuo head came and blocked the whole view of the stage! (-.-)" So I got up and went to Macs to have my lunch instead. After lunch, I walked back to the hall and continue taking my photos..

When I saw Gilian, I was so shocked, stunned and amused! I din noe she cosplay too!!! 2nd Misa I found. She sang "eyes on me (FFVIII)" on stage. Nice go!
WHO LIKE SAILORMOON!? THIS IS THE WHOLE SET OF THEM! LOL. Actually, I saw them quite a number of times when I went to the toilet. They were preparing and really took alot of effort to prepare these costumes and makeup. All the efforts paid off tremendously because the moment they stepped into the hall, almost ALL the photographers (including me) rushed up to them for photoshooting. Haha. She sang "a 1000 words" on stage. She got a pretty voice and got alot of cheers from the audience.
2nd Cloud I found. She looks kinda alike to the first once, but the first one looks better. lol. I managed to find this Tifa after she was done with her singing. Haha. There's only one tifa too. lol.
I have no idea whether she is Cloud or not... She did looks like him. With her hair and all. But there's something wrong with the costume if she was really cosplaying Cloud. lol.
OMG. BEAUTIFUL! I also managed to find Cid Highwind (FF7) and Yuna (FF10). =D
I love this photo, it looks like Cloud, doesnt it? =D Actually, I saw more than 4 Clouds during the cosfest, but the rest did quite badly for the costume and hair... lol. It was a fruitful day...
